Short Story of Zebra Susan with Morals – Download PDF Copy

Once upon a time, there lived a zebra named Susan in the great green jungle. Susan was no ordinary zebra; she was special because she had rainbow stripes instead of the usual black and white. Susan was very proud of her unique stripes and loved showing them off to all the animals in the jungle.

Every day, Susan pranced around the jungle, proudly displaying her colorful stripes and feeling like the most special zebra in the world. However, the other zebras didn’t think Susan’s rainbow stripes were as amazing. They whispered and laughed behind her back, saying, “Who ever heard of a zebra with rainbow stripes? She looks so silly!”

But Susan didn’t let their teasing bother her. She believed that being different made her special. One day, while she was prancing around, Susan came across a group of sad-looking animals gathered near a dried-up watering hole.

Curious, Susan approached them and asked what was wrong. The animals explained that their water source had dried up, and they didn’t know what to do. Without water, they would all be in serious trouble.

Susan knew she had to help. She remembered passing by a stream earlier that day and offered to lead the animals there. With her bright, rainbow stripes shimmering, Susan guided them to the stream, where they drank and thanked her for her kindness.

From that day on, the other jungle animals realized that Susan’s rainbow stripes were not just for show; they were a symbol of her kindness and willingness to help others. They stopped teasing her and instead admired her for being different.

The moral of the story is: It’s okay to be different. Our uniqueness makes us special, and sometimes our differences allow us to help others in need. So don’t be afraid to embrace who you are and always offer a helping hand.
