Short Story of The Wolf In Sheeps Clothing with Morals – Download PDF Copy

Once upon a time, a mischievous wolf named Willy lived near a small village nestled between mountains and green meadows. Willy was not like other wolves. Instead of hunting rabbits and deer like his wolf companions, he had a cunning plan: he wanted to sneak into the village and taste the delicious sheep that roamed the fields.

But there was one problem. The villagers were wise to the ways of the wolves and had built high fences around their pastures to protect the sheep. Willy scratched his head, trying to think of a plan.

One day, while wandering near the village, he noticed a shepherd’s hut. Inside, he found something that gave him a clue—a fluffy white sheepskin. Willy grinned from ear to ear. He knew exactly what to do.

He spread the sheepskin over himself, disguising himself as a harmless sheep. In his new disguise, Willy snuck into the village and blended in with the herd.

At first, everything went according to plan. Willy feasted on the unsuspecting sheep, and his belly grew round and full. But as time passed, his disguise began to slip. His sharp teeth peeked out from under the sheepskin, and his eyes gleamed with hunger.

One day, while Willy was strolling through the fields, a wise old sheep named Bella noticed something odd about him. She nudged her fellow sheep and whispered, “That’s no sheep! That’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing!”

The other sheep gasped in horror when they realized the truth. They began to bleat and scatter in all directions, trying to escape Willy’s grasp.

But Willy was too slow. The villagers heard the commotion and rushed out with pitchforks and torches. They chased Willy out of the village, and he never dared return.

As Willy slunk back into the woods, he realized the error of his ways. He had tried to deceive others with a mask, but the truth had been revealed. From that day on, Willy vowed to be honest and truthful, knowing that honesty is always the best policy.

And so, the villagers and the sheep lived happily ever after, protected from the cunning wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Moral of the story: It’s always better to be honest and true to yourself because eventually, the truth will come out.
