Once, on a hot summer day, a thirsty crow flew across the sky looking for water. The sun shone brightly, and all the streams and puddles had dried up. The crow felt weak and tired but did not give up.
After a while, the crow spotted a jar near a farmhouse. It flew down and perched on the edge of the jar. Looking inside, the crow saw water at the bottom, but no matter how hard it tried, it couldn’t reach the water with its beak.
The crow, being clever, began to think of how to get the water. It noticed small stones lying on the ground. An idea popped into its head. The crow picked up a stone with its beak and dropped it into the jar, then picked up another and threw it in. The crow continued dropping stones into the jar, one by one.
With each stone, the water level rose a little higher. After a while, the water was close enough for the crow to drink. It drank eagerly, feeling refreshed and happy. The crow had used its intelligence and patience to solve the problem.
Proud of itself, the crow flew away, having learned an important lesson: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Moral of the story: Even if things seem difficult, you can find a solution if you use your mind and don’t give up.
