Once upon a time, in a distant, sunny land, there lived two friends: the sun and the wind. They were best friends and loved to play together in the big blue sky. The sun was warm and bright, always shining its golden rays under everything. And the wind was strong and playful, and it loved to dance through the clouds.
One day, while they were playing tag among the fluffy clouds, they noticed a little boy walking down a dusty road. Sun and Wind both wanted to see who could take off the boy’s coat first.
The wind went first. It moaned and blew, blowing with all its might, trying to catch the coat. But the more the wind blew, the tighter the boy held his coat, shivering from the gusts.
Then it was the sun’s turn. The sun smiled warmly and gently lowered its rays. It kissed the boy’s cheek with its soft light, warming him little by little. Soon, the boy felt so cozy and comfortable that he happily took off his coat and continued on his way.
The wind was amazed and asked the sun, “How did you do that? I blew and blew, but the boy held the coat even tighter!”
The sun replied with a smile: “See, my friend, kindness and warmth can do what strength cannot. A gentle touch can melt the coldest heart.”
Moral of the story: Since that day, the sun and the wind have learned that kindness and warmth are true forces that can win anyone’s heart..
