Short Story of The Three Little Pigs with Morals – Download PDF Copy

Once there lived three little pigs who were brothers. They lived with their mother until it was time for them to go out into the world and build their own homes. Before they left, their mother gave them some advice: “Whatever you do,” she said, “do it to the best of your ability, for that is how you will succeed in the world.”

The first piglet was a bit lazy. He quickly built his house out of straw because it was the easiest thing to do. He finished his house very quickly and then went to play.

The second piglet was a little more diligent, but he still wanted to finish quickly. He built his house out of wood, which was stronger than straw, but still not very durable. He finished his house and joined his brother to play.

The third piglet was the most industrious. He decided to build his house with bricks. It took much longer to build, and it was hard work, but when he finished, he knew his house was strong and safe.

One day, a big bad wolf came. He saw the first pig’s straw house and thought it would be easy to blow down. So he huffed and puffed and blew the house down. The first piglet ran to his brother’s house made of sticks.

The wolf followed the first pig to the second pig’s house. He huffed and puffed and blew the house down. The two little pigs ran to their brother’s brick house.

The wolf came to the third pig’s house. He huffed and puffed, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not blow down the brick house. The three little pigs were safe inside.

The wolf was very angry and tried to trick the pigs by climbing down the chimney. But the third pig had a pot of boiling water on the stove. The wolf fell into the pot and quickly ran away, never to be seen again.

The three little pigs lived happily ever after in their strong brick house.

Moral of the Story: Hard work and dedication pay off in the end. It’s important to put effort into what you do to make sure it’s done well.
